Do you need a gas safety certificate for commercial property?

A commercial gas safety certificate is a legal requirement for commercial premises. The landlord or responsible person must arrange for a gas safety inspection to be carried out on the property before they let it to a tenant, and then again at least every 12 months. The tenants or lease holders must arrange for an annual gas safety inspection to be carried out on the property if they are responsible for arranging the inspection themselves.
