Sump pump repair, replacement and installation
A sump pump keeps groundwater out of a basement, and the moment it stops the water level becomes visible on the floor. Faults are usually a jammed or tethered float switch, a blocked impeller, a failed capacitor or a pump that has simply reached the end of its life after years of continuous duty. We repair where the pump is serviceable, replace where it is not, and on any critical basement we recommend a duty/standby arrangement with an independent alarm so a single failure does not cause a flood.
- Basement sump pump repair and emergency attendance
