Do you actually need a booster pump?
Low pressure has several causes and only some of them are fixed by a pump. A partially closed or seized stopcock, an old lead or galvanised main that has silted up, a failed pressure reducing valve, a blocked filter on a combi or a leak on the underground supply all produce the same symptoms. We measure static and dynamic pressure and flow at the incoming main before recommending anything. If the supply is healthy and the problem is height or simultaneous demand, a booster pump is the correct solution.
- Static and dynamic pressure measured at the main
- Flow rate tested against the property demand
- Stopcocks, PRVs and filters checked first
- Old lead or galvanised mains identified
